For most of the fabrics I buy and source there is such a limited supply that I have to be really careful around what samples I make (if any!)

The Isobel Dress uses the most amount of fabric of any of my dresses, and whenever I make a sample, I always get more orders in that style which in this case means in this fabric I can make less Isobel Dresses than I can Luna Dresses.

But when I saw this fabric I knew I wanted to make an Isobel Dress in it. I’ve heard from lots of you that you are waiting for Autumn to order your very own Isobel and I totally get it, what's more Autumnal than this?!

This fabric is a deadstock 100% cotton flannel in an utterly timeless and classic blue check from my London deadstock supplier. The colours are a dark blue, light blue and grey so perfect for those who want to feel cosy while still hanging onto the blue skies of summer. The fabric is buttery soft and slinky so it gathers beautifully, one of the many reasons why I knew it had to be made into an Isobel Dress!

The sample I made is in an Isobel size small, and I have 25 meters of this fabric which would roughly make: 7 Isobel Dresses, 10 Luna Dresses or 15 Luna Skirts.

The styles that will be available when Blue Flannel Check are: Isobel Dress, Luna Dress, Luna Skirt, Luna Top, Painter’s Shirt, Penny Dress, Molly Dress, Joan Dress and the Frankie Dress.

Blue Flannel Check will be launching on 10/09/25 at 9.30 gmt for email subscribers and at 10 gmt for everyone else.

Make sure you sign up for our emails to get notifications for fabric launches, email subscribers get early access which can come in handy when I have limited quantities of deadstock fabrics!
