If this fabric looks a bit familiar, it is!

I showed you this fabric last week when I needed help choosing one to replace the crunchy cotton and it was a veeeery close call between the two fabrics, so now Ochre Check is getting her time in the spotlight.

In case you missed it last week or aren't subscribed to the emails (you should! They're free and you get sneaky peeks at fabrics and front row to my End of Roll musings), this is a cotton and linen blend I sourced from one of my deadstock suppliers.

One of the reasons this fabric caught my eye was the combination of the three colours- the contrast between the blue stripes and the bright orange stripes against the ochre background was really striking and different to what I've seen before.

This fabric is a good medium-ish weight so I think it will be perfect for the transition into the colder months and you can layer it for more warmth when it's really cold.

I made up a sample in this fabric in a Hybrid Luna because you really can't beat the classics... I have enough of this gorgeous fabric to make 8 pieces, what style would you order? Will you go for a classic Luna Dress or maybe an Isobel Dress with her dramatic sleeves, I can't wait to see what you choose!

Ochre Check will be launching on 24/09/25 with email subscribers getting early access at 9.30 GMT and everyone else get access at 10 GMT.
