A True Party Fabric

This fabric is just incredible. 

When I was looking for extra special fabrics and saw it I knew I wanted to work with it. Tudor Silk, named for how utterly regal it looks and feels as well as referencing the Tudor Rose, is 100% silk. Nothing else. Pure luxury.

A bit fancier than the other fabrics this month, Tudor Silk would make the ultimate party dress in whatever style you choose (but imagine Isobel sleeves in this fabric!) 

I’ve made a Molly Dress for a lovely customer for a special event she’ll be attending. To make this dress even more incredible she asked for a scalloped neckline instead of the classic square.

When Tudor Silk first arrived in the studio I had 19.4 meters of this fabric which meant I could make around 7 finished pieces but email subscribers have already been ordering so as of this email I have enough Tudor Silk to make 5 more depending on the styles ordered. 

As this fabric was more expensive to source, dresses made in this fabric will cost £20 more.
