Because we make to order, we can adjust your FRL pieces just for you and your body/style. Please add any notes to your order otherwise we will assume your size is correct based on our measurement charts.
Every garment is made by hand in East Sussex. We take time to make your FRL piece with techniques and details that we hope make it last for years to come.
To get the most out of me:
• Hand wash/delicate cycle at 30
• Air dry
• Do not tumble dry
• Don't dry clean
• Iron on low

"This might just be the best shirt pattern ever. Fairly easy to make, cute details and above all; it is a dream to wear! So so comfy and it can be styled both very classy or super fun - I predict I will be living in these from now on. I have already made four and are planning on making more for both myself and friends. "I’ve never written a pattern review before, but am taking the time to do so for the Painter’s Shirt because it’s absolutely brilliant!! For sure the best written pattern in my book. I loved how the pattern is laid out in batch steps, so you do a bunch of ironing, then sew a bunch of pieces, then serge a bunch of pieces. Why have I not seen this before?? It’s fantastic!! Not having to jump up and down between iron and sewing machine and serger is fabulous! The shirt turns out just as pictured too! Only thing I did differently was to sew the neck binding down on the inside first, then wrapped around to the front and topstitched, as this is how I’ve always done it and I didn’t trust myself to get that sandwiched just right. Other than that personal preference everything was just wonderful, I loved sewing this shirt! PLEEEEEEASE I’m begging you to publish patterns for some of your dresses!! Pretty please!🙏"
